Description:

The project’s main purpose is to provide a refurbished satellite kitchen and new servery in the hospital restaurant, to continue the staff catering service for staff after the main catering production unit function is relocated offsite.

The scope includes creating a new kitchen, re configuring and replacing the existing restaurant servery and general refurbishment works to all project areas.

In our role as project manager we oversaw the process of combining the two separate projects into a single project to achieve cost efficiencies. We managed the design process through close liaison with the client and the professional team, led the tender process to award the main contract and developed the project programme to tight deadlines. We monitored project budgets, cost reporting and chaired project meetings, providing regular updates to the client. The project is in its procurement phase awaiting client approval to proceed.
