Description:

The Government of Jersey has procured Bond funding for the provision of social and affordable housing in Jersey, to be delivered by a number of relevant organisations including Andium Homes.

Andium Homes is refurbishing 84 one bed and 6 two bed high rise apartments at Hue Court, St Helier, to improve the quality of accommodation for tenants, achieving the Decent Homes Standard, and extend their useful life as part of the overall portfolio. It is intended that the properties will support the provision of accommodation for key workers in the health sector and other government employees.

The Government of Jersey has agreed to provide loan funding of some £15 million to meet the cost of the scheme. We provide an independent review of the project and funding arrangements to assure the Government that public funds are invested in projects that are soundly based and deliver the benefits for which the loan arrangements have been made.

The project commenced on site in March 2019 and is scheduled to complete in summer 2020.
